Behind my buddy’s auto repair shop there used to be a decrepit old jet ski with a weathered seat. I was poking around back there one day while waiting for my car and noticed how pretty the purplish seat material looked against the ratty yellow foam underneath. There was a moment of good light that started to fade as soon as I snapped a couple of pictures, and then the sky was overcast until I left the shop. My friend got rid of the jet ski soon after and I never saw it again, but I remember how that seat looked.
