I ate lunch with my buddy at a restaurant near his shop. Typically I eat lowfat soy burgers, tabbouleh, new-age roots and grubs. But I had a hankering for something meaty and traditional and this dish fit the bill. And it was good, so good that I forgot to take my usual pre-meal photo. Indeed I didn’t remember until I had eaten quite a bit. So my plans to make the definitive liver-and-onions stock photo were dashed, or at least changed. I would like to think that, instead, I created the definitive half-eaten-liver-and-onions stock photo, though I suspect that many thousands of more talented photographers have beaten me to it.
