Critical Mass Ride

That was fun, though I think I’ve had enough of these chaotic mass rides to last me until next year.

Critical Mass Ride

It’s difficult to stop for a photo when you’re in the middle of a giant rolling party. Pity, there were some nice sights to see and photograph. Maybe it’s time to get that GoPro.

Colorado River Near Moab, Utah

This is Potash Road, Utah Route 279, a scenic route that runs along the Colorado River from US Route 191 near Moab, past the potash fertilizer plant to Dead Horse Point State Park and Canyonlands National Park. A beautiful drive. The road and river run through the gorge in the middle of the picture. The Lasal Mountains are in the distant background.

The spot from which this photo was taken is next to a large expanse of fenced-off land containing old uranium mine tailings that are being cleaned up.

Barrel Cacti

The top of the hill at Hayden Green Mountain Park in Lakewood, CO was lousy with these little cactus plants.

Israeli Gas Station

Filling up the car on the main road through Hod Hasharon. I liked the juxtaposition of white pipes and red and yellow signs against the blue sky.
