Miami Metromover
The Metromover is a fun way to see downtown Miami. It’s automated and elevated; riding it feels a bit like being on a slow, enclosed roller coaster without loops. It’s good for photography too. This is the Riverwalk station.

Alligator Crossing
In Everglades National Park one morning, walking the Anhinga Trail. Many mosquitoes, no people. A sudden loud thrashing in the vegetation. This young fellow emerges from the reeds, crosses the trail and slides into the opposite canal. Why did the alligator cross the road? Who the hell knows.
